A. Company & Capability

Q: 1. Are you a factory or a trading company?

A: We are the factory. Zibo Great Sailing Light Industrial Products Co., Ltd. manufactures in Zibo, Shandong, with 50,000 m² of floor space, 890 workers, and 16 production lines. You buy direct from the line that makes your product, not through a middleman.

Q: 2. Where are your plants, and can I visit?

A: We are in Zibo, Shandong, two hours by road from Qingdao Port. Buyers are welcome to visit, and we can arrange a video call or a 360° tour if travel isn't practical. Tell us which categories you are sourcing and we will build the agenda around them.

Q: 3. What glassware do you make?

A: Glass jars and storage, mason jars, candle holders, vases, decanters, beverage dispensers, drinkware, and perfume bottles. A dedicated recycled-glass line remelts cullet into new ware. Most projects start from a stock shape, then take a custom neck, closure, or decoration; if nothing in the catalogue fits, we open a new mold.

Q: 4. Which certifications do you hold?

A: Our plants are BSCI-audited, and our products are tested to FDA and LFGB food-contact standards. Per-lot inspection reports ship with every order for customs clearance. If your compliance team needs a specific test or document, tell us before the order so we can plan the testing into the schedule.

B. Ordering & MOQ

Q: 5. What is your MOQ?

A: Stock items start at 1,000 pieces. Custom decoration, new molds, and non-standard capacities move the minimum up, and the range runs to about 10,000 pieces depending on the production route. Send us the spec and we will quote the MOQ that fits your product, not a blanket number.

Q: 6. Can I mix sizes, colors, or closures in one order?

A: Mixed configurations are possible on many stock items. The practical limit depends on the decoration and packing route, because each SKU needs its own carton count and label. Tell us the mix you want and we will confirm which combination stays above MOQ and runs in one pass.

Q: 7. Do you support OEM and ODM?

A: Yes, both run through the same production system. For OEM we build to your drawing and brand; for ODM we develop the shape from your market brief. Our design team works on an IPD process, launching three to five new designs a month and ten to fifteen development projects each season.

Q: 8. Can you produce from my drawing or sample?

A: You do not need a finished drawing to start. Send a sketch, a competitor sample, or a photo with the capacity and closure you have in mind. We come back with a 3D rendering in 48 hours and a physical sample in 7 to 10 business days.

C. Glass & Quality

Q: 9. What is the difference between borosilicate and soda-lime glass?

A: Borosilicate (3.3) handles thermal shock: oven, microwave, hot fill, and fermentation. Soda-lime is the cost-effective choice for room-temperature dry goods and retail lines. Both are lead-free and high-white. Tell us what goes into the container and how it is sold, and we will recommend the glass type.

Q: 10. Is your glass lead-free and food-safe?

A: Yes. Every line runs lead-free, high-white glass, and our products are tested to FDA and LFGB food-contact standards. Test reports are available per order and per lot, so your own QC team works from the same documents we do.

Q: 11. What quality checks do you run?

A: We work to AQL standards with in-house inspectors and testing equipment. Every lot is checked before packing for dimensions, wall thickness, annealing, seal, and decoration. The inspection record ships with the order, so your customs broker and your QC team hold the same document.

Q: 12. How do you test that jars are airtight?

A: Every unit is leak-tested before packing, and we reject rather than rework a unit that fails. Seals also go through 100 dishwasher cycles to confirm the gasket does not degrade. If a jar is not actually airtight, we do not call it airtight.

Q: 13. Can your jars handle hot filling, the dishwasher, and the microwave?

A: Borosilicate handles hot fill, the dishwasher, and the microwave. Soda-lime is built for room-temperature contents and normal washing. Two-piece lids hold vacuum through temperature swings, which is what canning and hot-fill lines need. Tell us your fill temperature and process and we will match the glass to it.

D. Closures

Q: 14. What closures do you offer, and how do you choose one?

A: Threaded lids, clip-top seals, cork and wood stoppers, metal clamps with silicone gaskets, two-piece canning lids, shaker tops, and flip-top caps, in metal, plastic, wood, cork, or glass. We match the closure and the liner to what you fill: acidity, sugar, oil, or dry goods.

Q: 15. Are your dispensers leak-proof, and how is the spigot assembled?

A: The spigot is assembled in our factory, not at your end. Plastic spigots are food-grade ABS or PP with silicone gaskets; stainless steel and chrome-plated brass are specified for higher-end lines. Every dispenser is leak-tested before packing, and we match the spigot material to the contents.

E. Customization & Sampling

Q: 16. What can I customize?

A: Shape, capacity, neck finish (38, 48, 58, 70, and 89 mm), closure, glass type, and decoration. Decoration covers spray color, screen print, hot stamping, laser engraving, decals, and electroplating. Change one variable or all of them: a label refresh and a fully bespoke mold are both normal projects.

Q: 17. How do samples work, and how long do they take?

A: Samples of stock items are free; you cover the freight. Custom 3D samples arrive within 48 hours for shape review, and physical samples take 7 to 10 business days. Sampling is the normal first step before tooling, and the signed-off sample becomes the production reference.

F. Lead Time, Payment & Shipping

Q: 18. What is your production lead time?

A: Production runs 30 to 60 days depending on the route, and we build buffer into the schedule we quote. New molds add tooling time before production starts. The calendar date is confirmed on the proforma invoice, so it is a commitment rather than an estimate.

Q: 19. What are your payment terms?

A: Standard terms are a deposit by T/T with the balance against the bill of lading, or an L/C for larger orders. Terms are confirmed on the proforma invoice, and we work with your finance team's requirements wherever we can.

Q: 20. How do you ship, and who handles customs?

A: We ship from Qingdao Port, two hours from the factory. FOB is our standard term; EXW and CIF are available on request. Every order ships with per-lot inspection reports and the packing list your broker needs. Tell us the destination and the Incoterm you buy on and we will quote to that.
