What's the difference between spray glass and colored glass?
Mar 04, 2024
Manufacturing process: Spray glass is created by spraying a special colored coating onto the surface of transparent glass, typically using a spray gun or sprayer. On the other hand, colored glass involves melting colored glass particles together during the manufacturing process, resulting in glass with specific colors.
Color vibrancy: Spray glass exhibits high color vibrancy and can be adjusted and customized according to specific requirements. In contrast, the color of colored glass primarily depends on the colored glass particles used, limiting the range of color vibrancy.

Durability: The colored coating on spray glass forms a protective layer on the glass surface, enhancing its durability and scratch resistance. However, the color in colored glass is achieved through colored particles within the glass itself, making it relatively more durable and resistant to color fading caused by surface scratches or peeling.
Customizability: Due to the adjustability and customization of the coating, spray glass offers greater design flexibility. Various patterns, gradients, and effects can be achieved using spray techniques. In comparison, the color of colored glass is primarily determined by the glass particles, resulting in a lower level of customization during the manufacturing process, typically achieved by selecting specific particles to achieve desired colors.
